At Welcm we are proud of our green credentials and the security of our visitor management system. We use a secure data centre to host Welcm which is 100% renewable energy powered. We believe this offers our customers the best cloud based hosting solution available. However, no matter the quality of the infrastructure we use, some organisations require that their systems and related data all be hosted locally within their own infrastructure. This is usually to do with particular accreditations they hold that requires it of them. For these customers, bringing in a piece of software like a visitor management system can therefore be very expensive. A bespoke version will be built from scratch, generally by software development agencies with only a high level understanding of visitor management. To provide a solution to such organisations we now offer on-site installs of Welcm Custom.
How it Works
All Welcm Custom visitor management systems are built using our standard Welcm visitor management system as the starting point. This means customers get each of the apps that make up the system. Those being the visitor sign in iPad app, the online dashboard and the iPhone companion app. The dashboard contains all of the system data and so it is that element that is installed on the customer's servers. Our technical team will work with our customer's technical team to ensure the correct services and hardware are made available for the deployment. Once everything is set up as required we are able to remotely install their new visitor management system on their servers.
